Updated October 2026. Endocrinology is a thin, expensive search market. Only 6 deduplicated Singapore keywords clear our volume threshold, but they average S$14.84 at the top of Google’s bid range. That ranks endocrinology #5 of the 20 verticals in our Singapore Medical CPC Index, but treat the ranking as indicative: a handful of keywords decides it.
The data comes straight from the Google Ads API (Keyword Planner, Singapore, English) and is refreshed every month by Marketing Agency Singapore. The story here is simple: few searches, high intent and few bidders.

Endocrinology CPC by search type
Keywords grouped by condition, with bids weighted by search volume.
| Treatment / service | Keywords | Searches / mo | Top-of-page bid (low–high) | Most-searched keyword |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Endocrinologist searches | 4 | 1,030 | S$2.65–S$14.85 | endocrinologist singapore |
| Thyroid | 2 | 250 | S$3.68–S$14.81 | thyroid specialist singapore |
“endocrinologist singapore” (S$16.20, 720 searches a month) and “thyroid specialist singapore” (S$15.35) are priced almost the same. Both are searched by patients who already know they need a specialist, usually after an abnormal blood test or a GP referral. Thyroid problems, diabetes, PCOS and osteoporosis lead to long-term care, so each new patient is worth a lot to a private practice.
The most expensive endocrinology keywords in Singapore
| Keyword | Searches / mo | Low bid | High bid | Competition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| endocrinologist singapore | 720 | S$2.94 | S$16.20 | High |
| thyroid specialist singapore | 210 | S$3.60 | S$15.35 | High |
| good endocrinologist singapore | 170 | S$2.29 | S$14.00 | High |
| pediatric endocrinologist singapore | 110 | S$1.37 | S$8.19 | Medium |
Even “good endocrinologist singapore” (S$14.00) is priced close to the head term. Paediatric endocrinology (“pediatric endocrinologist singapore”, S$8.19) is cheaper, with demand shared between private practices and the public children’s hospitals.

Endocrinology search demand by month
Total monthly searches for the tracked endocrinology keywords. Peak: January 2026 (1,610); low: February 2026 (1,030).
Demand is steady through the year with a small post-year-end lift, when patients follow up on health-screening results.
Endocrinology searches Google won’t show data for
| Search term | Keyword Planner, October 2026 |
|---|---|
| endocrinologist singapore | 720 searches, S$2.94–S$16.20 |
| thyroid specialist singapore | 210 searches, S$3.60–S$15.35 |
| diabetes specialist singapore | No data returned |
“diabetes specialist singapore” returned no data from Keyword Planner in October 2026, even though diabetes is one of the most common chronic conditions in Singapore. Diabetes care searches are spread across many phrasings, and much of the demand goes to polyclinics and GPs. A practice building a diabetes service will learn more from its own Search Console data than from Google’s planning tool.

What your endocrinology ads can say
Endocrinology practices are licensees under the Healthcare Services Act, so their advertising falls under the HCS (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 and the Singapore Medical Council’s ethical code.
No laudatory search modifiers cleared the volume threshold this month.
- No laudatory terms, including “top [specialty] doctor”, “best”, “leading” and “highly experienced”, even when accurate.
- No results promises such as “reverse your diabetes” or “balance your hormones in 30 days”. They create unjustified expectations.
- No promotions or reproduced testimonials. Discounted thyroid panels, “free” consultations and copied reviews all breach the rules. Exact prices with no prefix are fine.
- Weight-loss medicines need extra care. Prescription-only medicines can’t be advertised to the public, and Google flags prescription-drug keywords and ads for manual review.
MOH’s FAQ says SEO “is not considered as advertising”, while SEM is governed by the regulations, so factual condition pages are the safest way to reach patients searching for help.
Ads vs SEO for an endocrinology practice
If one practice ranked first organically for every keyword in this dataset, the clicks would be worth roughly S$2,831 a month in equivalent Google Ads spend. With so few commercial searches, most of the opportunity sits in content: thyroid, diabetes, PCOS and osteoporosis explainers that bring patients to the practice before they search for a specialist by name.

The highest single-keyword forecast is “endocrinologist singapore” at S$19.96. Forecast CPCs run above today’s top-of-page range because they model an advertiser who outbids the field for the top position.

Methodology
How this index is built. Every month we pull Google Ads Keyword Planner data through the Google Ads API for Singapore (English, Google Search network). We seed each medical vertical with its core treatment terms, then:
- Collapse close variants. Keyword Planner reports “boob job singapore” and “breast implant singapore” with identical numbers. We count them once.
- Drop navigational searches. Clinic and hospital brand names are excluded, along with anything under 30 searches a month.
- Report the top-of-page bid range (low and high) in SGD. Our headline “CPC” is the volume-weighted high end: what it typically takes to show above the organic results.
- Probe restricted terms by exact match to record where Google withholds data or gives no bid estimate.
Top-of-page bids are Google’s forecasts, not any one clinic’s actual cost per click. Quality Score, ad schedule, device and competition on the day move real CPCs above or below this range. Use the index to compare treatments and verticals, not to set a single bid.
