Two forces shape these numbers:

  • Corporate and international moves pay for the bids. “office moving singapore” sits at S$37.22 and “international movers singapore” at S$36.30. These jobs are larger, often billed to a company, and fought over by relocation firms as well as local movers.
  • House moves are a volume game. “movers singapore” gets 6,600 searches a month at S$15.05, and price-led searches such as “cheap movers singapore” (S$14.12) cost almost as much. Many small operators bid on the same terms.

Storage is a large slice of the volume in this vertical. “storage singapore” gets 5,400 searches a month, and self-storage operators compete with movers for those clicks.

What customers search vs what your ads can say

These are the words customers type. Check the advertising rules below before repeating them in ad copy.
Searcher modifier Keywords Searches / mo Avg high bid Examples

“top” 2 120 S$14.54 top 10 movers in singapore, top movers singapore

Unlike property agents or pest control, movers have no industry-specific licensing or advertising regime in Singapore. General consumer-protection law and the advertising code do the work, and they focus on price:

What customers search vs what your ads can say — Movers Google Ads CPC in Singapore: October 2026 Data
  • Final bills vs estimates. The Second Schedule of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act makes it an unfair practice to charge “substantially higher than an estimate provided to the consumer” unless the customer agreed to the higher price in advance.
  • No hidden surcharges. Omitting a material fact or hiding it in small print is also an unfair practice. Stair-carry, no-lift, long-carry, dismantling and after-hours charges belong next to the headline price.
  • “From $X” must be real. CCS’s price transparency guidelines say unavoidable fees should be in the headline price, and give “prices start from $5” with nothing at $5 as an example of a possible infringement.
  • Superlatives need proof. The ASAS Singapore Code of Advertising Practice requires factual claims to be capable of substantiation, which rules out unsupported “No.1 mover” or “most trusted” headlines. A “guarantee” must improve the customer’s legal rights and state its period.
  • WhatsApp follow-ups. PDPC’s Do Not Call guidelines cover WhatsApp messages to Singapore numbers, so check the DNC Registry before marketing messages unless you have clear consent.

This is a practitioner summary, not legal advice.

Ads vs SEO for a moving company

If one mover ranked first organically for every keyword here, the clicks would be worth roughly S$68,302 a month in equivalent ad spend. A practical split:

  • Google Ads for office, international and urgent moves, where each job justifies a higher cost per lead.
  • SEO for house moves and price research. Clear pricing pages by flat type, with the surcharges spelled out, rank for the high-volume residential searches and pre-empt the disputes that end in complaints.

CPC history and forecast — Movers Google Ads CPC in Singapore: October 2026 Data

Month-on-month changes

October 2026 is the first snapshot of this index. From next month this section shows which keywords got more or less expensive.

Methodology

How this index is built. Every month we pull Google Ads Keyword Planner data through the Google Ads API for Singapore (English, Google Search network). We seed each industry with its core service terms, then:

  • Collapse close variants. Keyword Planner often reports close variants (singular and plural, reordered words) with identical numbers. We count them once.
  • Drop navigational searches. Brand and company names are excluded, along with anything under 30 searches a month.
  • Report the top-of-page bid range (low and high) in SGD. Our headline “CPC” is the volume-weighted high end: what it typically takes to show above the organic results.
  • Probe restricted terms by exact match to record where Google withholds data or gives no bid estimate.

Top-of-page bids are Google’s forecasts, not any one advertiser’s actual cost per click. Quality Score, ad schedule, device and competition on the day move real CPCs above or below this range. Use the index to compare services and industries, not to set a single bid.

Do moving companies in Singapore need a licence to advertise?

We found no mover-specific licence or advertising regime. Ads are governed by general law: the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, CCS pricing guidance and the ASAS advertising code.

Can a mover charge more than the quote?

Not substantially more, unless the customer expressly agreed to the higher price in advance. The Act lists that as an unfair practice, which is why surcharges should be disclosed before the job.
