Updated October 2026. Logistics splits cleanly into two markets in the Google Ads data: cheap, high-volume courier searches and expensive, low-volume B2B searches for warehousing and freight. Across 138 deduplicated keywords, the volume-weighted top-of-page bid is S$8.25, ranking logistics #14 of the 22 industries in our Singapore Google Ads CPC Index.
The data comes from the Google Ads API (Keyword Planner, Singapore, English), analysed by Marketing Agency Singapore and refreshed monthly. Below: costs by service, the priciest searches, seasonality, and the (fairly light) rules on what logistics ads can say.
*Searches × 25% assumed #1 organic click-through × midpoint of Google’s top-of-page bid range. Data: Marketing Agency Singapore analysis of Google Ads Keyword Planner, Singapore, English, October 2026.
Logistics CPC by service
Keywords grouped by service, with bids weighted by search volume.
| Treatment / service | Keywords | Searches / mo | Top-of-page bid (low–high) | Most-searched keyword |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Warehousing & 3PL | 16 | 3,170 | S$1.60–S$15.36 | warehouse singapore |
| Freight forwarding (air & sea) | 19 | 2,090 | S$2.22–S$12.88 | forwarder singapore |
| Logistics searches (general) | 30 | 5,030 | S$2.07–S$9.71 | logistics company singapore |
| Cross-border shipping | 7 | 410 | S$1.17–S$6.14 | shipping from singapore to malaysia |
| Courier & same-day delivery | 63 | 10,400 | S$1.00–S$4.50 | courier service singapore |
The order reflects contract size:
- Warehousing and 3PL are long contracts. Warehousing & 3PL lead at S$15.36. A warehousing or fulfilment client may sign for a year or more, so “3pl singapore” (S$28.99) and “warehouse singapore” (S$26.06) attract higher bids than their volumes suggest.
- Freight forwarding sits in the middle. “freight forwarder singapore” is at S$17.19 with 880 searches. Buyers are businesses moving recurring shipments, but the market has many forwarders and plenty of price shopping.
- Courier is cheap and crowded. “courier service singapore” has 2,400 searches a month but a high bid of only S$4.83. Much of that demand is one-off consumer parcels with low order value, and searchers often go straight to a known brand.

| omni logistics singapore | 110 | S$1.68 | S$11.36 | Medium |
| astro logistics singapore | 70 | S$1.99 | S$11.16 | Low |
Warehousing, fulfilment and 3PL terms lead the list, followed by cross-border freight searches such as sea freight from China. Several company names also appear in the top list; those are buyers looking for a specific provider and are best treated as brand searches rather than category demand. “logistics company singapore” itself sits at S$12.12 with 1,300 searches a month.

Logistics search demand by month
Total monthly searches for the tracked logistics & freight keywords. Peak: October 2025 (28,240); low: June 2026 (21,060).
Logistics demand is fairly flat across the year compared with consumer categories. Small swings follow trade and retail cycles rather than holidays.
What buyers search vs what your logistics ads can say
| Searcher modifier | Keywords | Searches / mo | Avg high bid | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| “best” | 1 | 50 | S$5.21 | best courier service singapore |
| “top” | 2 | 140 | S$6.14 | top 10 logistics company in singapore, top logistics companies singapore |
| “cheapest / lowest price” | 7 | 550 | S$4.21 | cheapest delivery service singapore, cheapest courier singapore, cheapest international shipping from singapore |
Logistics is one of the least regulated industries in this index when it comes to advertising, and we’d rather say so plainly than invent rules:

- No freight-forwarding advertising regime. Our research found no licence or advertising code that applies to freight forwarders as such in Singapore.
- Customs filing is the exception. According to Singapore Customs, anyone applying for customs permits for themselves or for clients has to register as a Declaring Agent. If your ads offer “customs clearance” or permit filing, that implies Declaring Agent status, so make sure you hold it or say that a partner files the permits.
- Consumer law for consumer shipments. The Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act only protects individuals, so it matters for personal moves and parcels rather than B2B freight. It treats hiding material facts, such as compulsory surcharges, as an unfair practice.
- The ASAS code and Google policy apply to everyone. “Guarantee” should only be used where the guarantee is real and its terms and period are stated, and factual claims such as transit times need evidence. Google’s misrepresentation policy bans implying government or Customs endorsement you don’t have, and its pricing rules require the full cost to be clear.
For B2B outreach, PDPC’s Do Not Call guidelines exclude calls and SMS to organisations for their own purposes, but the Spam Control Act still requires “<ADV>” labels and an unsubscribe facility on bulk unsolicited email and SMS.
This is a summary for marketers, not legal advice. Check the source wording, or with a lawyer, before running a specific claim.
Ads vs SEO for a logistics company
If one company ranked first organically for every keyword we track, the clicks would be worth roughly S$26,041 a month in equivalent Google Ads spend. Part of that figure is courier volume, which is hard to win against household brands. The better opportunity for most B2B logistics firms is the expensive, low-volume end: warehousing, 3PL, cold chain and lane-specific freight pages (“sea freight from China to Singapore”) that rank organically and capture buyers who would otherwise cost tens of dollars per click.
- Google Ads for warehousing, 3PL and specific trade lanes, with quote-request landing pages.
- SEO for service and lane pages, plus content that answers the questions procurement teams ask (lead times, documentation, incoterms).

Methodology
How this index is built. Every month we pull Google Ads Keyword Planner data through the Google Ads API for Singapore (English, Google Search network). We seed each industry with its core service terms, then:
- Collapse close variants. Keyword Planner often reports close variants (singular and plural, reordered words) with identical numbers. We count them once.
- Drop navigational searches. Brand and company names are excluded, along with anything under 30 searches a month.
- Report the top-of-page bid range (low and high) in SGD. Our headline “CPC” is the volume-weighted high end: what it typically takes to show above the organic results.
- Probe restricted terms by exact match to record where Google withholds data or gives no bid estimate.
Top-of-page bids are Google’s forecasts, not any one advertiser’s actual cost per click. Quality Score, ad schedule, device and competition on the day move real CPCs above or below this range. Use the index to compare services and industries, not to set a single bid.

Why are warehousing keywords more expensive than courier keywords?
Warehousing and 3PL buyers sign longer, larger contracts, so each lead is worth more. Courier searches are higher in volume but often one-off parcels from individuals, so advertisers bid less per click.
Do freight forwarders need a licence to advertise in Singapore?
We found no general freight-forwarding licence or advertising code. Filing customs permits for clients does require registration as a Declaring Agent with Singapore Customs, so be careful how you describe that service.
