Updated October 2026. Wealth searches are low-volume and high-value. Across 46 deduplicated financial adviser, wealth management and private banking keywords, the volume-weighted top-of-page bid is S$17.24, ranking #6 of the 22 industries in our Singapore Google Ads CPC Index. The priciest service group this month is Estate planning, at S$25.90.
The data comes from the Google Ads API (Keyword Planner, Singapore, English), refreshed monthly by Marketing Agency Singapore. Below: costs by service, the most expensive searches, demand by month, and the MAS rules that shape financial advisers’ ads.

Financial adviser CPC by service
Keywords grouped by service, with bids weighted by search volume.
| Treatment / service | Keywords | Searches / mo | Top-of-page bid (low–high) | Most-searched keyword |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Estate planning | 2 | 350 | S$3.01–S$25.90 | estate planning singapore |
| Wealth & private banking | 24 | 3,490 | S$4.61–S$19.61 | family office singapore |
| Financial adviser & planner | 10 | 1,520 | S$3.94–S$15.80 | financial advisor sg |
| Investing & funds | 5 | 510 | S$2.58–S$11.58 | unit trust singapore |
| Retirement & CPF | 5 | 700 | S$2.02–S$8.39 | retirement planning singapore |
What drives the order:
- Asset size, not search volume. “family office singapore” (S$25.38) and “private banking singapore” (S$18.29) are searched by people with significant assets, or by those advising them. One client can be worth years of fees, so a high cost per click still pays.
- Estate planning overlaps with legal. “estate planning singapore” (S$12.78) draws bids from both advisers and law firms, which keeps the group expensive.
- Retirement and investing searches are research-led. “retirement planning singapore” is only S$9.14 at the high end. Many of these searchers are still learning, and robo-advisers and platforms compete for them with lower-cost products.
The most expensive financial adviser keywords in Singapore

| wealth singapore | 170 | S$10.32 | S$29.91 | Low |
| family office singapore | 880 | S$4.51 | S$25.38 | Medium |
| wealth management singapore | 390 | S$6.51 | S$23.13 | Low |
| best robo advisor singapore | 90 | S$2.44 | S$19.29 | Medium |
| robo advisor singapore | 260 | S$4.17 | S$19.10 | Medium |
| financial planner singapore | 110 | S$4.90 | S$18.46 | Medium |
| private banking singapore | 590 | S$3.93 | S$18.29 | Medium |
| financial advisor sg | 480 | S$4.88 | S$16.88 | Medium |
| best private banking singapore | 110 | S$3.80 | S$16.59 | High |
| single family office singapore | 110 | S$3.16 | S$16.49 | Medium |
| private banking minimum requirements singapore | 50 | S$2.17 | S$15.34 | Medium |
| independent financial advisor singapore | 110 | S$3.35 | S$13.33 | Low |
| financial adviser singapore | 50 | S$4.03 | S$13.10 | Medium |
The list mixes two audiences. Family office and private banking terms target wealthy individuals and the professionals who serve them. Robo-adviser and financial planner terms target mass-affluent savers. Both are expensive, but they need very different landing pages and follow-up.

Financial adviser search demand by month
Total monthly searches for the tracked financial advisers & wealth keywords. Peak: March 2026 (8,170); low: December 2025 (5,340).

What clients search vs what your ads can say
Clients search for the “best” adviser or plan:

| Searcher modifier | Keywords | Searches / mo | Avg high bid | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| “best” | 6 | 540 | S$13.09 | best retirement plan singapore, best private banking singapore, best robo advisor singapore |
Financial advisers’ advertising is shaped by the Financial Advisers Regulations and MAS guidelines:
- The MAS statement. Regulation 22 requires product advertisements for investment products to include, word for word, “This advertisement has not been reviewed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.” MAS’s FAQs allow space-limited digital ads, which link to a product or campaign page, to carry it on the main page of that website instead. That’s what makes short Google ads workable.
- Fair and balanced, and approved. The same regulation requires product ads to be fair and balanced, clear and legible, with at least 10-point text on websites and email, and approved by a specified person before publication. Breaches carry a fine of up to $25,000.
- “Independent” is restricted. Regulation 21 bars using “independent”, its derivatives in any language, or words of like import to promote advisory services unless the adviser receives no product-provider commissions, works free of product restrictions and has no conflicts of interest. That matters for searches like “independent financial advisor singapore” (S$13.33): you can bid on the term, but you can’t describe yourself that way unless you meet all three conditions.
- Each ad must stand on its own. MAS’s digital advertising guidelines (in effect from 25 March 2026) say each advertisement should not mislead when viewed on its own, and benefits shouldn’t be highlighted with risks left to another page. The guidelines name advertising agencies as “digital marketers”, and they require influencers to disclose sponsorship and whether they are licensed.
- Google verification. Google has required financial services verification for financial services ads in Singapore since 30 August 2022. Advertisers generally need an MAS licence or an exemption.
MAS has also announced further changes, including requiring firms’ names as listed in its directory in each ad, but these weren’t yet in force at our October 2026 update. This section is a practitioner’s summary, not legal advice.
Ads vs SEO for financial advisers
If one firm ranked first organically for every keyword in this dataset, the clicks would be worth roughly S$17,391 a month in equivalent Google Ads spend. Volume is small, so the case for SEO here is about credibility and research-stage visibility as much as traffic.
- Google Ads for high-value services. Private banking, family office and estate planning, with landing pages that carry the required statement and balance benefits with risks.
- SEO for research-stage searches. MAS’s FAQs note that purely educational content about a product class, with no named product or recommendation, is not an advertisement. Explainers on retirement planning, CPF and estate planning can rank, and earn trust, before a client is ready to talk.

Month-on-month changes
October 2026 is the first snapshot of this index. From next month this section shows which keywords got more or less expensive.
Methodology
How this index is built. Every month we pull Google Ads Keyword Planner data through the Google Ads API for Singapore (English, Google Search network). We seed each industry with its core service terms, then:
- Collapse close variants. Keyword Planner often reports close variants (singular and plural, reordered words) with identical numbers. We count them once.
- Drop navigational searches. Brand and company names are excluded, along with anything under 30 searches a month.
- Report the top-of-page bid range (low and high) in SGD. Our headline “CPC” is the volume-weighted high end: what it typically takes to show above the organic results.
- Probe restricted terms by exact match to record where Google withholds data or gives no bid estimate.
Top-of-page bids are Google’s forecasts, not any one advertiser’s actual cost per click. Quality Score, ad schedule, device and competition on the day move real CPCs above or below this range. Use the index to compare services and industries, not to set a single bid.
