Part of our Marketing Costs & Pricing guide →
Updated October 2026. Women’s health in Singapore has two pricing tiers. Searches for a gynaecologist are contested by private O&G practices and priced accordingly. Searches for screening and vaccination (pap smears, HPV vaccines) are among the cheapest clicks in medicine. Across 39 deduplicated keywords, the volume-weighted top-of-page bid is S$8.03, ranking women’s health #9 of the 15 verticals in our Singapore Medical CPC Index.
The data comes straight from the Google Ads API (Keyword Planner, Singapore, English) and is refreshed every month. Below: what each service costs to advertise, the most expensive searches, how demand moves through the year, and the women’s health searches Google won’t give you data for.
*Searches × 25% assumed #1 organic click-through × midpoint of Google’s top-of-page bid range. Data: Google Ads Keyword Planner, Singapore, English, October 2026.
Women’s health CPC by service
Keywords grouped by service, with bids weighted by search volume.
| Treatment / service | Keywords | Searches / mo | Top-of-page bid (low–high) | Most-searched keyword |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Obstetrician & pregnancy | 2 | 160 | S$2.97–S$13.28 | obstetrician singapore |
| Gynaecologist searches | 25 | 4,330 | S$3.12–S$12.02 | gynae in singapore |
| Pap smear & HPV | 9 | 3,390 | S$0.49–S$2.73 | hpv vaccine singapore |
Why the spread is so wide:
- A gynae patient is a long relationship. A woman who chooses a private gynaecologist may stay for years, through screening, fertility questions, pregnancy and delivery. A full antenatal-to-delivery package is one of the larger self-paid episodes in private medicine. That lifetime value supports bids like S$16.98 for “gynae clinic singapore”.
- Screening is subsidised and commoditised. Cervical screening is available through national programmes, and HPV vaccination is widely offered in schools and polyclinics. Patients searching “pap smear singapore” (S$4.62) or “hpv vaccine singapore” have cheaper public options, so few private practices bid hard for them.
- Preference searches signal intent. “female gynae singapore” (390 searches, S$12.15) and “good gynae singapore” (480 searches) show a patient choosing a specific doctor, not just a service. Those searches convert well and are bid on accordingly.
The most expensive women’s health keywords in Singapore
| Keyword | Searches / mo | Low bid | High bid | Competition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gynae clinic singapore | 140 | S$4.15 | S$16.98 | Medium |
| obstetrician singapore | 110 | S$3.21 | S$16.15 | Medium |
| gynae in singapore | 1,900 | S$3.99 | S$14.04 | High |
| best gynecologist singapore | 90 | S$3.31 | S$13.05 | High |
| best female gynaecologist in singapore | 260 | S$2.27 | S$12.98 | High |
| female gynae singapore | 390 | S$2.83 | S$12.15 | High |
| good gynae singapore | 480 | S$2.28 | S$11.48 | High |
| gynae in singapore recommendation | 50 | S$2.62 | S$9.87 | Medium |
| affordable gynae singapore | 110 | S$2.59 | S$9.47 | High |
| ang mo kio gynae | 110 | S$2.39 | S$9.45 | High |
| top gynae in singapore | 50 | S$3.03 | S$8.71 | Medium |
| endometriosis specialist singapore | 90 | S$2.09 | S$8.34 | High |
| jurong gynae | 70 | S$1.66 | S$7.10 | High |
| pregnancy check up singapore | 50 | S$2.43 | S$6.96 | High |
| menopause clinic singapore | 50 | S$1.87 | S$6.57 | High |
The list is almost entirely gynaecologist and obstetrician searches, plus estate-level searches like “ang mo kio gynae” and “jurong gynae”. Those come from patients who want care close to home rather than in the Novena and Orchard medical clusters. Condition searches such as “endometriosis specialist singapore” (S$8.34) are lower-volume but specific. The patient knows what she has and is looking for the right doctor.

Women’s health search demand by month
Total monthly searches for the tracked women’s health & o&g keywords. Peak: March 2026 (10,120); low: August 2026 (7,180).
Demand is broadly flat with a dip around Chinese New Year. Women’s health doesn’t follow a strong season, so steady visibility through organic rankings, a well-maintained Google Business Profile and always-on brand campaigns counts for more than seasonal bursts.
Women’s health searches Google won’t show data for
We check the core women’s health terms by exact match every month:

| Search term | Keyword Planner, October 2026 |
|---|---|
| gynaecologist singapore | 1,900 searches, S$3.99–S$14.04 |
| pap smear singapore | 590 searches, S$0.44–S$4.62 |
| abortion singapore | 880 searches, S$2.47–S$6.50 |
| fibroid treatment singapore | No data returned |
“fibroid treatment singapore” returned no data from Keyword Planner in October 2026, while the closely related “endometriosis specialist singapore” did. Gynaecological conditions are exactly the kind of sensitive health topic Google handles cautiously, and the gaps aren’t always predictable. A practice that treats fibroids can’t plan a campaign from Google’s tool. Its own condition pages and Search Console data are the more reliable demand signal.
What patients search vs what your gynae ads can say
O&G clinics are licensees under the Healthcare Services Act, so their advertising falls under the HCS (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 as well as the Singapore Medical Council’s ethical code.
| Searcher modifier | Keywords | Searches / mo | Avg high bid | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| “best” | 2 | 350 | S$13.00 | best female gynaecologist in singapore, best gynecologist singapore |
| “top” | 1 | 50 | S$8.71 | top gynae in singapore |
Patients ask for the “best female gynaecologist”. The regulations don’t let a clinic answer in kind:
- Laudatory terms. “Best”, “top [specialty] doctor”, “highly experienced” and “wealth of experience” are on MOH’s list of laudatory terms and are prohibited regardless of accuracy. Stating a doctor’s gender, registered qualifications and specialty is factual and allowed.
- Packages and price wording. MOH lists “package” pricing tied to discounts, “as low as”, time-limited prices and “free” or “complimentary” items as soliciting. That covers the familiar “antenatal package from $X with complimentary scan”. Exact fees with no prefix are allowed.
- Reviews. Organic, unpaid reviews posted directly by patients can appear on your own website and social pages. Reproducing them in ads, or offering anything in return for a review, isn’t allowed.
- Public schemes. MOH has long required clinics that take part in national screening schemes to use the authorities’ own publicity materials when advertising them. Don’t write your own promotional version of a subsidised pap smear.
MOH’s FAQ says SEO itself “is not considered as advertising”, while SEM is regulated as paid advertising. Your website still has to comply, but a clinic can rank organically for “best gynae singapore” on the strength of its doctor profiles and genuine reviews without making that claim itself.
Ads vs SEO for an O&G clinic
If one clinic ranked first organically for every keyword in this dataset, the clicks would be worth roughly S$10,074 a month in equivalent Google Ads spend. Most of that value sits in the gynaecologist searches, not the screening ones.

A practical split for most women’s health practices:
- Google Ads on gynaecologist and obstetrician searches in your catchment, with doctor-specific landing pages stating qualifications, languages and exact fees.
- SEO for condition and estate searches. Endometriosis, fibroids, menopause and “gynae + estate” pages, plus a Google Business Profile that wins the map pack. Our multi-location clinic local SEO work put every branch of a specialist group into the map pack for its “specialty + area” searches within six months.

Methodology
How this index is built. Every month we pull Google Ads Keyword Planner data through the Google Ads API for Singapore (English, Google Search network). We seed each medical vertical with its core treatment terms, then:
- Collapse close variants. Keyword Planner reports “boob job singapore” and “breast implant singapore” with identical numbers. We count them once.
- Drop navigational searches. Clinic and hospital brand names are excluded, along with anything under 30 searches a month.
- Report the top-of-page bid range (low and high) in SGD. Our headline “CPC” is the volume-weighted high end: what it typically takes to show above the organic results.
- Probe restricted terms by exact match to record where Google withholds data or shows no bids.
Top-of-page bids are Google’s forecasts, not any one clinic’s actual cost per click. Quality Score, ad schedule, device and competition on the day move real CPCs above or below this range. Use the index to compare treatments and verticals, not to set a single bid.

How much does a gynae click cost on Google Ads in Singapore?
In October 2026, women’s health keywords averaged S$1.98–S$8.03 across Google’s top-of-page bid range, weighted by search volume. Gynaecologist searches cost more than that average, while screening and vaccination searches cost far less. The priciest term with 50+ monthly searches is “gynae clinic singapore” at S$16.98.
Why are pap smear and HPV vaccine clicks so cheap?
Both services are widely available through subsidised national programmes and public providers, so fewer private clinics compete for them. This month “pap smear singapore” tops out at S$4.62 and “hpv vaccine singapore” at S$1.95, against S$16.98 for “gynae clinic singapore”.
Can an O&G clinic advertise an antenatal package?
Not as a discounted or promotional package. MOH treats discount-linked “package” wording, “as low as” prices, time-limited offers and complimentary add-ons as soliciting. You can list the exact fee for each service, and payment plans can be explained to patients at the clinic’s payment counter.
Should a gynae clinic use SEO or Google Ads?
Both. Ads capture the high-intent gynaecologist searches immediately. SEO and the map pack win the estate-level and condition searches, plus the preference searches (“female gynae”) that a clinic can’t answer with laudatory ad copy. See Google Ads for doctors.
