Updated October 2026. Search “are dental implants the most expensive keyword in dentistry” and the answers come from US agencies, quoting US clicks. Singapore’s numbers look different. Across 407 deduplicated Singapore dental keywords, the volume-weighted top-of-page bid is S$6.52. That puts dental at #11 of the 15 verticals in our Singapore Medical CPC Index, in the cheaper half. Implants aren’t even the priciest dental treatment. Invisalign & clear aligners are, at S$10.96.
The data comes straight from the Google Ads API (Keyword Planner, Singapore, English) and is refreshed every month. Below: what each treatment costs to advertise, the most expensive individual searches, when demand peaks, and the dental searches Google won’t give you data for.
*Searches × 25% assumed #1 organic click-through × midpoint of Google’s top-of-page bid range. Data: Google Ads Keyword Planner, Singapore, English, October 2026.
Dental CPC by treatment
Keywords grouped by treatment, with bids weighted by search volume. A keyword searched 2,000 times counts for more than one searched 30 times.
| Treatment / service | Keywords | Searches / mo | Top-of-page bid (low–high) | Most-searched keyword |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Invisalign & clear aligners | 13 | 2,640 | S$5.85–S$10.96 | invisalign singapore price |
| Braces & orthodontics | 27 | 5,890 | S$2.35–S$9.11 | braces singapore |
| Children's dentistry | 2 | 640 | S$2.22–S$8.16 | pediatric dentist singapore |
| Root canal & endodontics | 7 | 1,370 | S$1.72–S$7.73 | root canal cost sg |
| Dental implants | 3 | 1,770 | S$1.64–S$6.43 | implant cost singapore |
| Teeth whitening | 9 | 710 | S$1.32–S$6.34 | teeth whitening cost singapore |
| General "dentist" searches | 311 | 62,970 | S$1.63–S$6.03 | dentist singapore |
| Wisdom tooth removal | 5 | 570 | S$1.73–S$5.92 | wisdom tooth extraction singapore |
| Emergency dentist | 2 | 120 | S$1.59–S$5.19 | 24 hour dentist singapore |
| Crowns & bridges | 3 | 600 | S$1.27–S$5.18 | crowning cost singapore |
| Scaling & cleaning | 7 | 970 | S$1.58–S$5.01 | dental cleaning singapore |
Three things drive the order:
- Case value, not search volume. Clear aligners and braces are multi-thousand-dollar, multi-visit cases, so practices can afford a higher cost per lead. A scaling-and-polishing patient may be worth a hundred dollars on the first visit, and the bids reflect that.
- Specialist competition. Orthodontists, endodontists and paediatric dentists compete with general practices for the same patients. That pushes up terms like “endodontist singapore” (S$16.97) and “orthodontist singapore” (S$10.76).
- Implants are cheaper than the US narrative suggests. “dental implants singapore” has a top-of-page range of S$2.40–S$9.98. Much implant demand in Singapore is price-led (“implant cost singapore”), and many seniors start at a polyclinic or a CHAS clinic before shopping privately. The bidding hasn’t escalated the way it has in US metro markets.

| dental appointment singapore | 90 | S$4.13 | S$14.80 | High |
| dentist singapore raffles place | 140 | S$4.03 | S$14.24 | High |

| best teeth whitening singapore | 90 | S$2.01 | S$12.32 | High |
| dentist tanjong pagar | 260 | S$3.73 | S$11.93 | High |
| aligners singapore | 70 | S$6.74 | S$11.87 | Medium |
| cheapest invisalign singapore | 110 | S$4.61 | S$11.83 | High |
| novena dental | 390 | S$3.75 | S$11.72 | High |
| one orthodontics novena | 390 | S$2.84 | S$11.54 | Low |
| root canal specialist singapore | 110 | S$2.43 | S$11.12 | High |
Two kinds of search dominate the top of this list. The first is location-plus-intent searches in the CBD and business districts, such as “dentist harbourfront” and “dentist raffles place”. These are office workers booking around their workday, with plenty of practices bidding within walking distance. The second is specialist and cosmetic searches: endodontist, clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry. Fewer people search them, but they’re worth more per patient.

Meanwhile, the broad head term “dentist singapore” sits at S$9.51 with 2,400 searches a month. It looks like the obvious keyword to buy. In practice it’s the least qualified one: the searcher could be anywhere on the island, looking for anything from a filling to a CHAS-subsidised check-up.
Dental search demand by month
Total monthly searches for the tracked dental keywords. Peak: December 2025 (112,090); low: February 2026 (70,230).
Dental demand in Singapore follows the calendar. Searches dip around Chinese New Year and climb towards year-end, when patients use annual leave and employer dental benefits before they reset. If you run ads, time budget increases to those peaks. If you’re investing in SEO, publish treatment pages two to three months ahead of them so they’re indexed and ranking when the demand arrives.
Dental searches Google won’t show data for
We check the core dental terms by exact match every month:

| Search term | Keyword Planner, October 2026 |
|---|---|
| dentist singapore | 2,400 searches, S$2.60–S$9.51 |
| dental implants singapore | 720 searches, S$2.40–S$9.98 |
| invisalign singapore | 880 searches, S$7.69–S$10.17 |
| veneers singapore | No data returned |
| dental crown singapore | 170 searches, S$1.61–S$7.82 |
“veneers singapore” returned no data from Keyword Planner in October 2026. The related ideas (“veneer price singapore” and similar) still appear with bids, so the market exists, but you can’t size it from Google’s planning tool. Planning a veneers campaign from Keyword Planner alone means guessing. Organic rankings and Search Console data from your own site are often the only reliable demand signal for terms like this.
What patients search vs what your dental ads can say
Dental clinics are licensees under the Healthcare Services Act, so their advertising falls under the HCS (Advertisement) Regulations 2021 as well as the Singapore Dental Council’s ethical code. Patients don’t search politely:
| Searcher modifier | Keywords | Searches / mo | Avg high bid | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| “best” | 7 | 320 | S$9.74 | best teeth whitening singapore, best pediatric dentist singapore, best endodontist in singapore |
| “top” | 2 | 100 | S$6.20 | top 10 dental clinic in singapore, top dental clinic in singapore |
| “cheapest / lowest price” | 9 | 1,150 | S$7.20 | cheapest braces in singapore, cheapest dental clinic in singapore for maid, cheapest braces in singapore for students |
MOH’s own examples of prohibited dental advertising are very specific: “instant / immediate teeth whitening” and “straight teeth in 2 weeks” both create unjustified expectations. The rules also cover:
- Price wording. “As low as”, “lowest prices”, usual-vs-now pricing, “package” discounts and “free” or “complimentary” offers count as soliciting. You can list the exact price of a service. You can’t dress it up.
- Before-and-after photos. These are not allowed in advertising, even with a disclaimer. They can only be shown to a patient during a consultation on your premises.
- Testimonials. Organic, unpaid reviews that patients post directly to your website or social pages are allowed. Reproducing them in ads, or paying or incentivising patients to post, is not.
Look at the price-led rows in that table, such as “cheapest braces” and “cheapest dental clinic”. You can bid on those terms, but your ad can only answer with a plain, exact price. A well-built pricing page that ranks organically, explaining what affects the cost of braces or implants, usually converts that searcher better than an ad that isn’t allowed to say “affordable” anyway.
Ads vs SEO for a dental clinic
If one clinic ranked first organically for every keyword in this dataset, the clicks would be worth roughly S$87,371 a month in equivalent Google Ads spend. No clinic does, but the number shows how much ad budget is at stake. Dental has the highest value-at-stake of any specialty vertical in the index, because the search volume is so large.

A practical split for most Singapore practices:
- Google Ads for high-value treatments in your catchment. Aligners, braces and implants, geo-fenced around your branches, with dynamic keyword insertion switched off. Treatment-specific landing pages should list exact prices.
- SEO for volume and for what ads can’t do. Local map-pack rankings for “dentist + estate” searches, treatment and cost pages for the price-led searches, and content for treatments Keyword Planner won’t size.
In our multi-branch dental Google Ads rebuild, splitting campaigns by treatment and rewriting creative to comply with healthcare advertising rules cut the cost per booked appointment by 47% on the same budget.

Methodology
How this index is built. Every month we pull Google Ads Keyword Planner data through the Google Ads API for Singapore (English, Google Search network). We seed each medical vertical with its core treatment terms, then:
- Collapse close variants. Keyword Planner reports “boob job singapore” and “breast implant singapore” with identical numbers. We count them once.
- Drop navigational searches. Clinic and hospital brand names are excluded, along with anything under 30 searches a month.
- Report the top-of-page bid range (low and high) in SGD. Our headline “CPC” is the volume-weighted high end: what it typically takes to show above the organic results.
- Probe restricted terms by exact match to record where Google withholds data or shows no bids.
Top-of-page bids are Google’s forecasts, not any one clinic’s actual cost per click. Quality Score, ad schedule, device and competition on the day move real CPCs above or below this range. Use the index to compare treatments and verticals, not to set a single bid.

How much does a dental click cost on Google Ads in Singapore?
In October 2026, Singapore dental keywords averaged S$1.82–S$6.52 across Google’s top-of-page bid range, weighted by search volume. Individual terms range from under S$2 for some estate-level searches to S$19.83 for “dentist harbourfront”.

Invisalign & clear aligners, at S$10.96 volume-weighted. They’re followed by Braces & orthodontics (S$9.11) and Children’s dentistry (S$8.16). Dental implants average S$9.98 at the high end for the head term, well below their reputation.
Can dental clinics run Google Ads offering a discount?
No. Under the HCS (Advertisement) Regulations, words such as “discount”, “promotion”, “free” and “complimentary”, time-limited prices and usual-vs-now price comparisons count as soliciting. Your ads and landing pages can state exact prices with no prefix or comparison.
Is SEO or Google Ads better for a dental clinic in Singapore?
Most clinics need both. Ads give instant, controllable visibility for high-value treatments. SEO captures the large volume of local and price-led searches more cheaply over time. It also covers terms like veneers that Keyword Planner won’t size. See our SEO for dentists guide and Google Ads for dentists guide.
